Host an Exchange Student

By Travis on April 26, 2010

I was recently contacted ┬áby Forte International Exchange Association. They are a non-for profit organization helping place foreign exchange students. One student is seeking a host family for the 2010-2011 school year for Quincy Notre Dame. This is a great opportunity to expand your family’s culture and make a difference in the life of young adult. The message and contact information is below. If you have the means, please consider. The information is as follows:

“We have a female student from China who will be studying at Quincy Notre Dame High School in the fall 2010-11 school year and are urgently looking for a host family for her. She enjoys singing, dancing, and the outdoors, and is very excited to live in the U.S. and learn about American culture.

Her host family will earn a stipend of $400/month to offset expenses (providing room and board and a caring environment). The student comes with accident/medical insurance and spending money for personal expenses. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested in hosting her.

Hosting a Chinese student can be an unforgettable experience and a great way to build a lasting friendship with someone from across the world. Don’t miss out! Contact Eve for more information: or 1-888-893-6783.”
