The Villa Katherine is Quincy’s Moorish Castle. Looking out over the Mississippi, The Villa built by George Metz in 1900 was inspired by the buildings and structures of the Muslim world. The intricate interiors and unique architecture make is a great tourist attraction. I recently took some photos of the Villa inside and out. I hope you will enjoy them and take a chance to visit the Villa and support it yourself. Pictures just don’t do it justice.
